Terms of Service

1. Who can use Bolna

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your phone number and device secure, and for activity on your account.

2. The service

Bolna converts your speech into text and can rewrite it in different styles and languages using AI. The text is generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Please check it before you send it, especially for important, legal, medical or financial messages. You are responsible for the content you create and send.

3. Trial and subscriptions

• Bolna is a paid service. New customers can start with a low-cost paid trial (for example ₹5 for a short period), shown with its price and duration in the app before payment. One trial per phone number.
• After the trial, continued use needs a paid plan. Prices, durations and daily limits are shown in the app before you buy.
• The checkout shows your trial duration, price and renewal terms before payment. With a prepaid trial or plan, access ends at the displayed deadline and no renewal is charged automatically. With UPI AutoPay, you explicitly approve the recurring amount, interval, first debit date and maximum number of payments. The provider sends debit notifications. Cancel before the next debit in your UPI app (or, for a card, with your bank). Cancelling keeps access already paid for.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Bolna for anything illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes other people's rights;
• record other people without their permission where the law requires it;
• try to access other accounts, overload, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, or get around usage limits;
• resell the service or use it to build a competing product;
• create multiple accounts to get more trials.

5. Your content

You own what you dictate. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your dictations to advertise to you.

6. Our rights

Bolna, its design, software and branding belong to AmplifyX Labs. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by inaccurate transcriptions or messages you send. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using Bolna and delete your account at any time from the app or on the web. Any active UPI AutoPay mandate must be cancelled before account deletion completes; if the provider cannot confirm cancellation, deletion remains pending. Prepaid plans have no future automatic charges. Unused premium days are not refunded when you delete your account, except as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll tell you in the app about significant changes. If you keep using Bolna after they take effect, you accept the new terms.
